Absolutely love, just what Id been looking for. Weeks ago began using another global geography app when following news and had already learned so much (paired with online searches for more country info & images, history, context). THIS APP though is just what I was looking for to quiz me. Love the approach and repetitive asking of those we miss :) I study app map prior to each training (=find the country quiz), finally got Tanzania (yay), and Myanmar is surprisingly large. Visual & contextual learning is so important in understanding world. Im so far ahead of where I was weeks ago, feels great. Havent tried the apps challenge feature yet but am happy with training sessions already.

I never thought learning all the countries could be so easy and fun!

Probably one of the best apps to learn geography. Really, I wouldnt change much about it.

Ive traveled in the U.S., all over Europe &, also, to 2 Turkish cities & Seoul, South Korea & this app still taught me A LOT! Good for people who want to learn the location, capitals & other important cities of every country in the world!

With finals coming up I had a problem, geography is not my strong suit and I needed to memorize the geography of Asia. I found this app and downloaded it, thinking that it was going to be another terrible, ad filled, in app purchase ridden, app. I was very wrong. The app had few ads and and they werent too intrusive. This app helped me memorize all the countries in Asia in about 2 hours and I got 44/45 on my geography test!

The makers of this app should double check where Cote DIvoire, Africa is located.

Ive wanted an app like this for years. Its so crisp, easy to use, and effective. In a few enjoyable hours over two days, I went from being able to locate maybe 5-6 African countries to knowing all 55 with their capitals along with the 75 biggest cities. Ill probably buy the physical maps as well.

I was on a long road trip and looking for something to keep me busy when I downloaded this app. I wanted to learn works geography better and this app had me instantly hooked. Love the different difficulty options and the inclusion of capitals and major cities!

I started using this app with limited knowledge of world geography. In no time Ive learned so much! This app is fun and very educational. Ive had no problems with it so far.

Its a great way to awaken the brainwaves and learn more about the world. Cant stop from going back for more.

I have to share my enthusiasm! This is the first time Ive ever wanted to gift an app, especially to people who love to learn. This is a non-competitive app that actually can teach world geography! It is effective because it is nonverbal and self-correcting, just like the Montessori manipulatives my daughter had when she was a young girl. I was a geography major in college, but I still am learning a ton about nuances and relationships about our world; locations in geographical space from this superior teaching tool. Just like people who are religious zealots, I wish I could share this with everyone. There is both a political and physical mode for learning. Ive only been working on level one so far, and I know Im a nerd, but I just love this app. Who knew there were so many lakes and rivers with names up there in Canada! ;) The app has both a learning mode and a challenge mode, and even the challenge mode only challenges your own curious self. Perfect for me because I really am not at that interested in competing with others. I just want to learn for myself for fun. In learning mode, theres no timer at all...and that is nice sometimes when I just want to browse around the world and take a leisurely look at the relationships between physical and political locations. When I feel like it, Ill change to challenge mode and realize how much I still have to learn as the timer makes my heart pound and I zoom around the world proving what I know. The beauty of it is when you get Ghana confused with Gabon, you can see how close they are; it shows your answer and the correct answer simultaneously and you can take look right then and there. For the first time since I was a young whippersnapper, I feel like Im making new progress in really getting my geography truly down. Both iPhone and iPad are great. This is a great learning tool on my phone for when Im just sitting there too lazy to get up, but Ive been stealing my husbands iPad lately too because it is easier with small spaces to point stuff out. Nothing can compete with my 20 inch illuminated globe, (see? I admit it Im a nerd!) but when Im too lazy to get up and look at that gorgeous crystal sphere, this is a really nice substitute. Its hard to impress me and this does. Well worth every penny.

Why is Egypt part of Asia when its in Africa? Just because its closely part of the countries in the Middle East does not mean its in Asia.

Finally I am motivated to use an app to help me learn countries. What I dont know is embarrassing at times. This will save me, eventually.

Although this is helpful, the app has been crashing a lot recently, leaving me extremely frustrated.

Packs a ton of information into a clean, uncluttered format. Love the elegant design. Fun to use (addicting, actually) and well worth the price.

World maps is an excellent app for people who love geography to keep learning about world countrys, capital and cities.

Love it! Just what I want in order to be engaged when sans book. Learning geography has been a long time interest and this app provides learning in an engaging way!
